Just picked this beauty up. I sold along my older and shorter Christansen one a few weeks back. Couldn't pass this one up for the price. This one is about 9 feet long from tail vise to end. Solid maple top. I think the legs were replaced at some point. Not sure if I'll try to restore before selling along or just leave it as is. I'll get more pics once I have room in the shop to put it together.

Added the Formica top. Surprised at how easy it went. Sone minor bumps from dust probably, but won’t affect the use of it. Also finished installing the x6 drawers in the side there. Next up is the finishing trim and applying a finish coat to it all.

Just finished my new bench. It's made from 2" steel square tube, 3/16" wall. The top is 3/16" stainless steel over 1.5" of MDF. Laser cut and bent by a local supplier. I have two somewhat beat-up Snap-On KRA boxes nested inside. 2" hitch receiver for future accessories. Top is 30” deep, 10’ wide.

Never got to add my workbench and cabinet builds from this past summer here is the outcome. Only problem i have with it is i made the bench too darn nice, so i had to cover them. Found some maple bowling alley approach and used it for the tops. Now its to nice to hammer on lol oh well. i can always move them inside.

I had Lista bench w/ adjustable top (power legs) , it had uprights w/ 2 cabinets and a pull out drawer cabinet under. My enclosed trailer was maxed out w/ 45 yr old 1/4 sawn black walnut & white oam off my grandparents farm, corvette parts and more…. Lista cabinets. I sold it on marketplace the day we moved everything from Illinois to colorado last may. It was awesome but I only had a 15,000 # max weight.

enjoy that beauty!

Dropped tools/parts never go somewhere as obvious as under a bench.

That's why I went for a simple light gray epoxy. It's kind of ****. We did it late in the year and it was cold. I've got lots of bubbles and the stuff is pretty soft so it marks up easily. HOWEVER, it's easier to see nuts and bolts. My other floor is a speckled textured floor. The texture does nothing to prevent water from making it slick and the speckles are natural camo for small parts.

My shop has tiny black holes that **** up dropped objects and transports them to a galaxy far, far away. Dark Matter that confounds astrophysicists is composed mainly of small parts and tools from every workshop in the universe. There's a dark nebula composed entirely of 10mm sockets and end wrenches.

I got out of my rental car last night and my bottle of water fell out onto the ground and rolled under the car. So I got down on my knees and looked for it. Not there. Went to the other side and looked again. Not there. Finally found it 2 cars over up against the inside of the tire!

Those tiny black holes are in a lot of shops and garages.

Funny that is exactly where dropped small items go in my garage, and directly against the back wall where all the dust bunnies live. At least I can fish the steel ones out with my trusty magnet on a stick. I really need to install a baseboard on the front of the bench.

Make it a QR mount for when something still ends up back there....
