I do not think we have a thread for showing our favorite pliers and cutters.
While I can not brag about super fancy and brand new ones, I am proud that more than a half of mine were restored from stuck and rusty to working and useful!

The last picture is the example how they often find me. The one on the bottom is solidly stuck and is currently being restored...H Boker & Co (this company is more famous for the knives, originated in Germany in 1869)

Jeff, this is amazing! Once I get as many as you have, I will have to copy your organizer!
What are your most unusual or favorite?

Here are a few favorites, I keep hanging at my bench along with anything else I might need at arms length. All old and my "go to" daily users.

The fist pic has a United Nations theme. The heavy solid copper pair is US made by Berylco. Not sure of the use other than for wet/damp conditions. The small needle nose are vintage Snap-On. The large needle nose are from West Germany and the large side cutters are Gray made in Canada.

The second pic are two pairs of Eifel Plierenches (1933 & 1953) with a full compliment of interchangeable jaw inserts. I just recently acquired the '53 set.

The last pic are an old pair of pliers that I found in the trunk of my Model A coupe, a pair of offset Starrett crimpers and a made in Italy pair of Sparta hand clippers.

These model Snap-On pliers that I bought almost 20 yrs ago. Mine were well used & beat up from when I worked in automotive. Last year I came across a new one on ebay then went on a mission to find replacements for all of the ones I had. They don't make these anymore.

I finally found new replacements for all of them & sold my old ones. Although these new ones have a bead blast finish. I prefered the satin finish on my old ones. I love the stubby needle nose ones the most.

They are made from beryllium copper and are non-sparking. These tools are intended to be used in environments where a spark could ignite a fire or cause an explosion. They are also non-magnetic and corrosion resistant.
