Ok guys. Got my toolbox and now I will start getting tools in it. I really love the look of it. What do you think.

Nice! Any indication of how much weight the shelves will support? Are you going to be able to resist the temptation to make the bottom bucket a "catch all" or bolt bucket?

Basically where everything that doesn't have a home + any spare parts ends up. Kind of a junk drawer. Everyones got one... the problem is, your likely candidate is also the largest storage section you have.

I have no idea. I have this big garage where I can keep that stuff.
Here is a picture of it with my baby. The hazet is going to look nice there.

What is the appeal to these tool boxes? They seem like little carts, and you aren't able to organize much with them.

More like a kid's wagon with a couple of shelves. I think the assistant has a cult following like old air cooled VWs. They go back to a simplier time when ony a few tools could do everything on a car.

Awesome!
A E31, that shop & now the legendary Hazet Assistent!
This is coming along really good.

About those mods, are you going for the CSi look?

Oh, and make sure to keep the pics coming...

Congrats on the find, and since you're already in Europe somewhere, it shouldn't be too difficult to find Hazet tools to fill it up with.

I've had the opportunity to work on those engines on a few occasions....that V12 is pretty big.

I think having lift up the trays every time you need to use that cart would get old quick, especially when they are heavy and full of tools.
I would prefer drawers with ball bearing slides.
