Okay got all the boxes and conduit in. Time to pull wire and wire it all. The 4x4 boxes are 2” deep but look to be kind of full. I know most are big fans of pigtailing. But I have spec grade “industrial” grade receptacles. How a bought just feeding through the hots through the outlets and pigtailing the neutrals. (Let the debate begin…)
Can't wait for photos as I am going through a similar dilemma on my mobile workbench. I have an extension cord from the wall to the bench (protected by a cord ramp) that reaches the bottom of the bench. It is loosely in place (cup hook) where it splits into two surge power strips (one on each side of the fence).
My goal is to build something more permanent into the bench, potentially on the back side (as it is mobile and not against a wall). Yes, you will need to walk around the bench to plug it in, but you will have obstructions on the bench itself.
Another option was to put the outlets creatively along the front the bench (brace) or on the vertical legs.
Lots of time to think about it!1763214138165.jpeg
