Lets talk paint sprayers

I getting to the point where I want to make my pole barn all one color and I want to buy a paint spray system. I've looked at wagner and Grayco at lowes and looked at the reviews on several sites and from what I have been seeing is that the wagners seem to be troublesome and the Graycos seem to work well they just don't last all that long if you are doing a lot of painting......30 or 40 gals and the pump motor is about done.

I don't want to spend a thousand bucks for something I probably won't use everyday but I don't want to spend $400.00 bucks for something that after a couple years of casual use I have to throw it away and buy a new one either.

Is the airless units all that is available as far as spray systems that will spray latex paint? Or is there some other way to spray thick latex paint without it costing big bucks for a airless sprayer?

i have had a graco x7 (i think) for 3 years. Works every time I get it out. And I don't fill it with the protectant stuff either. I just use it and abuse it. Obviously I clean it very well after each use

I have a graco as well. Not sure on the model but it has been a workhorse.

X3 on the Graco. Mine works like a champ.
