I‘m planning to build out a dry wall tool box to do general purpose drywall and hanging pictures. I’m planning to use a 28” long structural foam box, and I’d love to fit a 24” level in the bottom part of the box as well as a small 6” torpedo level.

I own a nice set of Stabila German levels so I don’t want them to get banged up. I did some searching and most of them are contractor worksite cases that hold a half dozen large levels. I found some cheaper ones that look single slot but the sizing isn’t clear so I don’t know if they’ll fit in a 28” toolbox.

Not sure I'd want my levels on the bottom of my toolbox.
Any thought to a tube type holder mounted to the inside of the lid?
