Leveling cement

Have a two month old cement floor that was brushed to make anti slip. Now it needs to be smooth. Other than trying to grind it all, 24x32, anyone have other suggestions? Thanks

Also they didn’t put a vapor barrier under pad, it is typically a very dry site but epoxy would be out of the question I assume?

Why does it need to be smooth? Do you have plans for a coating or sealer? Is your slab below grade or next to a hill?
