Leveling Garage Floor?

I've got a ~20x20 attached wood frame garage surrounded by footer. It's a new-construction home that is now a bit over a year old.

Trouble is the thing is sloped for drainage.... rediculously so. It's about a 7" drop front to back. I have to actually lock the wheels in my tool box to keep it from rolling away. I only plan on this being my home for another 2-3 years, so I've been trying to live with it, but it is driving me nuts.

Also, it has a 12' ceiling, so I'd like to take advantage of that with a lift but I think the slope is an issue with that.

The concrete is in 6 sections with expansion joints. You can visibly see the change in slope at each section.

What are my options? What should I expect for costs to repour if I hammered it out and leveled?

2-3 years?

Any permanent fix is going to be cost prohibitive, so I'd try to live with it.

But here is a suggestion that might work for temporary.

Cover the floor with visqueen, carying it up the wall 8" at the low point.

Lay down a fine woven wire mesh, in sections, for reinforcement.

Pour a self leveling concrete and let it cure.

Use until you leave, at which point you break up the install, using the joints between sheets of mesh, as cut lines.

You will also need a temporary ramp at the door.

I have a 20x20 garage as well, with 6" of slope. When I installed my 4 post lift I was able to adjust the front posts by raising the ladder bars by 2" and made 2" concrete bases for under the front posts to sit on. Which gave me the level I needed for the lift based on the length of 14ft. It's very doable for what you have!!

If you are only going to be there for a couple years I wouldn't bother with the floor. It will be quite expensive to make it level and for the relatively short time you will be living there I would think it would not be worthwhile.

Thanks for the reply. According to maxjack sales they didn't condone shimming it that much, but I'm sure that's just to appease the lawyers. I would likely fabricate something out of steel plate for a solid shim. Then you still have the problem of the lift arms, but seems like you've solved that as well.

Any pics by chance?
