Hi All,
Brand new to the forum. I tried using the search, but was not able to find anything per my issue. I recently began prepping my 60ish year old garage for epoxy. There are two areas where the concrete has settled a bit and slopes into a corner about 1/4 inch from level. Filling the crack is no issue, I plan to use PC products masonry epoxy and feather it with a diamond cup on my angle grinder. My question is what can I effectively use to get the sloped area level with the rest? I was thinking to roughen the surface with a diamond cup, then use adhesion promoter, and then possibly self leveling cement, or resurfacing cement, floating it to level with the rest of the floor. Will this be okay to do before epoxy coating, or is there a better solution?
Thanks,
Bob
