hold on. you mean an alphabet soup "tool company" sells sketchy **** on amazon?!?! no way
I wouldn't put Lexivon in that category. Household name? No. But they aren't a company that disappears after a year under a different name and most of their products have thousands of reviews

Thanks for the heads up. That detent ball hole sure is deep. I’ve seen others that were smaller, but all that I have seen were because they broke just like that one, so I’m not sure it means anything.

I ended up buying a set of Lexivon Stubby sockets with an external hex that I could use with a box end wrench to make a job a little easier because my gearwrench stubby on a ratchet wouldn't fit.

After a quick Google search, it seems that Lexivon is a trademark owned by ARKVIEW, LLC, who appears to also own the Sabrent brand of computer peripherals. I'm guessing Lexivon is private labeling Taiwanese imports and not actually making anything themselves. Given Sabrents generally good reputation, I expect Lexivon is sourcing good quality product.

Yeah, a computer parts importer is probably being really selective about the tools they import.

You guys think about this stuff too much and have too much faith in what random companies that don't make stuff are doing.

But if the tool works for you, send it

Not a statement for or against "Lexivon". Don't have any of their tools and don't know anything about them.

But everything has the potential to break, like this Snap On 3/4" to 1/2" for example. It twisted and snapped, thankfully on the the last bolt.
