I'm trying to find a replacement for an obsolete inside unit condenser fan motor. LG mini split part number 346810 motor number 4681A201727. Dancing around the many web pages and 'chat with a representative' service is getting me nowhere. One rabbit hole indicates that a current LG motor EAU62004011 with a jumper wire fits my unit LSN121HSV2. What says the guru's here? Having spent 20+ years in the auto parts business and being able to find damn near anything for any vehicle this is very frustrating. Thanks

since its no longer available, i think your best bet is calling business that sell this unit and see if they have any stock left over. sometimes a company that knows they will discontinue a part on a unit they buy up parts for stock

If you find one it will probably cost more than a whole new unit. It is the main reason I avoid selling mini splits unless there are no other options.

Reporting back.....Success! After a $100.00 service call to tell me what was obvious (motor was bad) the area authorized LG group provided me with an estimate of $1200 to vacuum down the unit, remove from the wall and if deemed necessary after inspection return it to the shop for repair if they could get the part. A new mini split system was suggested at a price of $5000.00
After checking in here and continuing to mine thru the internet algorithms to get past the retail suggestions I found a replacement motor. (Thank you 'Supply House'). Item was received in 4 days and in less then two hours this morning without removing it from the wall, the unit is up and running and whisper quiet.
Motor with shipping $110.00.

I have been told LG appliances are great until they need parts, and only LG has the parts. Well Done to the OP.

The greed of some people....

1200$ to remove the unit from the wall ? Getting to the fan motor and removing it from the (still mounted) wall unit is a 15min task.

5 grands for a 12k mini-split ? Is it made out of gold ?

I'm glad you were able to fix it yourself. (y)

What i was going to suggest that lg probably made the same unit under a different name if u could talk with someone from tech might give u another lead. Needed a blower wheel for a gibson mini found out gree made the unit got a wheel in a few day s instead of 12 weeks.
