LG mini split cooling problem

I have an LG mini split system heat pump with one unit in the living room and one in the bedroom. Has been installed now for 2 years with no problems. Now the living room unit will not cool the room adequately if turned on by itself. But when I turn on the bedroom unit, the living room unit starts cooling as it should. I had a service tech check it out and freon level was good and pressures were spot on. Even when I put the unit in Jet Cool mode, it only blows room temp air until I turn on the other unit then it begins blowing cold air. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. The tech left scratching his head on this! Thanks for any replies.

theres solenoid valves on the multi zone system condenser. Check that. Or computer not giving power to solenoid.

Is the outside unit even running when the Living room only unit is turned on. If it is then its the valves that control the freon flow that are not turning the freon on to the right unit.

I have had a similar thing happen on some systems. On the Fujitsu's, which I am familiar with, the situation you describe was caused by the wires being switched at the condenser. "A" evaporator has to go to "A" on the condensing unit. "B" to "B". I'm not sure how the LG's are wired but this is a simple check.
