I did a trademark search. "LICOTA" is a trademark registered to PARGET INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. CORPORATION TAIWAN. The website seems to have conflicting information about were the tools are manufactured. It says production is carried out in the Tai-Li Industrial Zone in Taiwan, but the website also says that before that some production was also carried out in Vietnam, and it mentions the company importing "semi-finished products and loose pack products such as Pliers, wrenches ,hammers and screwdrivers from mainland China" for assembly into sets. So the hammer may be Taiwan or China production. The website does claim the company is ISO 9001-2008 certified.

I have no experience with the brand, but a similar USA manufactured dead blow would cost at least $25 in the USA. 10 Euros for an import doesn't seem bad if it looks to be reasonable quality.

To be fair, we have no way of knowing that those are made in Germany.

I mentioned in the hot deals thread that a few of those actually look like Nupla rebrands.

Yeah, last year Gedore USA had a clearance on their pliers. Found out after the fact when I received them that they have a 2nd tier value line made in Taiwan. Was not happy.
