My garage is masonry and I used these for wall cabinets and other misc items, they come in 1 inch up to 3 or 4 inch. I get mine at Depot.

drill a 1/4 hole tap it in - Boom done!
I used a cordless Roto hammer M-12 light weight and very easy

they are removable w/ a sharp chisel and a flat pry bar. I use them all the time regular stocking item in my “ money maker “ work truck

I don’t like tapcon’s ! I’ve had way to many failures.

Only issue you might have is hallow cells in the masonry. I had a few….

The Red heads are difficult to remove if you need to, you have to grind the head off. I have a few for permanent mounts, but I use Tapcons and some sort of french cleat type brackets. My Gladiator wall cabinets came w/'em (cleats). I also used a ledger sometimes, like below. When fastening these cabinets to CBS walls, I use fender washers for more holding, and they are rock-solid 1 Tapcon in ea. inside corner. A corded Milwaukee Holgun hammer-drill sets the Tapcons after drilling neat holes.

Instead of using a Tapcon for every little thing that gets mounted, I'd Tapcon horizontal 2x4 on the wall then use regular screws into that when hanging stuff.
