I would go with the Bendpak.. I'm a bit biased since we own one, but I think they have better support, and they are ALI certified

I would also suggest a Bendpak or if you're looking for a cheaper alternative Danmar.

The few Atlas lifts I've looked at were sketchy in terms of quality - enough so that I chose to spend a little more for a Danmar.

Very satisfied with my XPR-10A.

I'm lucky, I had the room to set it up in the wide configuration and I'm glad I did. It makes getting in and out of the cars a snap.

It's low enough for my Corvette, and the included adapters were tall enough for my Suburban (now sold).

It just works.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

What is a "wide configuration"? and the difference between that and whatever is standard?

Me too  I have a 10ACX, I love it and is ALI certified

the posts would be farther apart, and you would have room for wider vehicles, and more door room

Also worth mentioning is if you do any work on German cars they can often be really difficult to get up on a standard width lift. IMO if you can fit the wide one, get it, it's only a few bucks more.

I looked at both and went with the Bendpak. The Atlas looked like a good piece of equipment but once you added in shipping, I got the Bendpak XPR-10A for about the same price, and it's certified.

Now if it would just get here so I can get it installed!

I have the pv-10p. It has been a good lift. I've owned it for about 11 months. Install was easy and it works good. The combo asymetrical / symetrical is great. If I would say anything bad about it, its that I wish it were a bit wider. Large trucks with towing mirrors (like todays 91 c-3500) is a bit of a tight fit. Of course its more of a problem for me because I have to turn in my shop to get to the lift. If I was straight in from the door it would be less of an issue. I'm not sure if other lifts are much wider though. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will be getting another identical one in the near future.

I think 2860 is what I paid, its been about a year and a half.

i was amazed at how fast it shipped I think it was about 4 or 5 days from the time I ordered it until it was at the terminal for pickup. From ca to mi.

they have great customer service, when i got mind one of the boxes with the small parts was ripped open and i wasn't sure what was supposed to be in there and if anything was missing.............I called them and I think the girl I talked to would have sent me all the contents of the box if i would have asked. turned out nothing was missing.

you don't have to order them in the standard or wide lift anymore they have it set up so that you can install them either way. the wide width is nice. i think 144" outside dim.

here's the wide width install.....lots of room to get the doors open

That looks good, I guess even though the Bendpak is about $500 more, it appears to be the forum favorite so I'll have to get that and install it in the wide configuration.

Thanks for everyone's input!
