I was wondering who has been under a car when a earth quake happened?
We were sitting outside when we see the water in the pool really start moving
then I thought about how scary it would be to have a car start doing a dance up above

I would not want to be under a lift with a vehicle up on it during an earthquake. I have seen a ranger almost bounce off the lift from dude f'ing around and were rocking it.

I have been under a couple cars, worked ina shop for about 8 years, usually by the time I realized that it wasnt me shaking the car, (pulled alot of transmissions back in the day) it was just about over!

I was in a tour bus in a small quake in CA once. It woke me up and I thought our driver had died behind the wheel and we were jumping curbs. I rolled out of my bunk and ran to the front of the bus and jumped in the driver's seat and floored the brakes. It took my mind a good minute to grok that we weren't moving.
