I'm thinking of putting in a two poster in my new 25x40 (x12H) Shop.
I've been oogling the BendPak XP-10n.
Do all these require mounting (bolting) to the floor?
I don't seem to see explicit reference to that.

I have never seen a 2-post that did not require bolting down.

I actually have but there were specialized parking lifts, nothing that you would be working under.

I know you did not ask but most 4-post lifts are not bolted.

All two post lifts need to be bolted to the floor so that it doesn't fall over while raising the lift.

I just bought a new lift last week & will have it next week & I almost went with the BendPak but ended up getting a Challenger VS10. I picked it due to their Versymmetric arm arrangement. My bay is 26' deep & having both cars & trucks, I can use this both ways if I install it symmetrically (which I will) & I can get better balancing & more lifting options with it. Plus, BendPack just jumped up their prices a week ago by $200 or more. I got it from HERE.

The cost of steel has raised. So BendPak did what every other lift company has done or will have to do and raised prices to compensate. It's like all lift companies are going around a race track and BendPak joined the many other at the pit stop. I would definitely look into quality with relation to costs. Wait for the new XPR's I've been hearing about - hopefully later this month...
