Hi all!

I have an BendPak 4 post lift and I love it. What type of maintenance needs to be done and how often?

Also, because its a four post I bought a lift jack which works really well to grab and axle or frame and lift for brake/suspension work.

The problem is that the lift jack has a very short hose and one needs to get underneath the vehicle while its lifting. Im not crazy about that but Bendpak gave me no options.

Any suggestions?

The bridge jack link you provided just shows the AK-14 air line kit. How does that change having to be under the lift to use the jack? I personally have no problem using the jack while under the car, because I realize that the car is still on or over the runway, and can't go anywhere. I have never seen a bridge jack that was operated any other way.
Getting back to the AK-14 kit..... it would be nice if Bendpak would include instillation instructions on their website for some of these accessory items, so you could see how they mount and learn more about there functionality. If I were able to see how it works, I would even consider it for my lift. I love my Bendpak lift, and the company has been great in every way possible to maintain a happy customer base. Kudos to Jeff Kritzner at Bendpak for all he has done for the members of Garage Journal.

Jeez, No trust in the lift and jack? Probably need to get someone to operate the jack before you get under the lift and car!
Maybe go to a shop and see what really goes on when using this type of equipment. Don't be scared!
