Get a GOOD drill. I used my friends Bosch SDS and it made the job much easier, and more importantly did not wallow out the holes. If the holes get wallowed the wedges will not set. I also had to get a rebar cutter bit when we hit rebar in one hole.

If you only plan on using it a few times, you might consider the HF one, it is cheap enough. I would think that using that drill bit would do one of two things; drive you insane, or burn out your hammer drill. Most drills are rated at a certain capacity and I am willing to bet that your drill is not rated to drill 3/4" holes in concrete 4 or more inches thick.

SDS for 3/4" dia. The 1/2" hammer drill will be like trying to escape from prison by wearing a hole thru the wall....

Definitely go with an SDS drill and bits. When I installed my two post lift, I used 7" epoxy anchors that were 7/8" in diameter, I borrowed a friend's SDS rotary drill but I had difficulty finding a 7/8" SDS bit that was 10 inches long.

I drilled a total of 10 holes and the SDS drill and bit worked fine. IIRC, it took about 45 seconds to drill each hole. With the epoxy anchors, it was very important to clean out all of the concrete dust from the holes. That took a long time to do.
