Lift issue

I have a 2 post Advantage 10k lift and the far collum dies not engage the stops, especially on the lower levels.
It lookes the the piece with the slots behind the carriage tilts away from the back if the column at the top.
The lift is only about a year old and has been used lightly.

I will be contacting them, but due to travel ot will take a while. So looking for ideas.

Either the columns aren’t parallel to each other, ie one is tilted, or the release isn’t set up correctly, ie the release cables are improperly adjusted.

Both are installation issues.

I looked to see if anything looked like it shifted
I know they were straight and parallel when they were installed.
At first I thought the release cable wa too tight, but saw the paw was a the way in and not catching because of the extra space.

I just can figure out why the space is there.
There is nothing pulling that part forward, and the slide blocks all look good and are well lubricated.
