I'm wondering what folks use for jacks on their 4-post lifts.
I was using a bottle jack the other day followed by of course a jack stand to really support the vehicle after I took the wheel off. All of this was on a safe jack tray but it left something to be desired.
The bottle jack is light and easy to position but I don't really like the small purchase point it has. My hydraulic jack is too heavy, too big to easily position, and then there is no room to wield the are to pump it up.
I stopped at the lift displays at Back to the 50s yesterday and looked at the air jacks but at $300+ they seem awful expensive for what they are. The rolling jacks are really what I want but those are unreasonably expensive for occasional use.
So what types of jacks do you folks use on a 4-post lift? Is there another jack out there I should be looking for?
