Im going to look at a rotary spoa-200 this weekend. Not sure of the year but it's red, so it's a little older. Any reason to stay away from this lift? He has 2. One is in service, the other is broken down. Dismantled one is for sale. He is willing to swap power units to prove they work. Needs an overhead safety switch which looks like can be had for under 50 bucks. Thanks for the input.

With any used lift, you're going to want to look closely at the sheaves, cables, slide blocks and fittings for signs of wear and strain. Budgeting a couple of hundred for replacements might be wise (and cheap, given that replacing these parts once the lift is assembled can be a PITA... not to mention the safety issues).
