finally getting the place drywalled. I have the epoxy already and wanted to get the drywall done before I do the floor. So...should I buy the 2 post lift and have it installed before I do the epoxy to avoid possibly ruining the epoxy?

I put armorpoxy on my floors first right after shop was built, put lift in, cabinets, racks, lathe, drill press, welders, etc all after floor was done and didnt scratch or mess up the floor any. For the lift I just cut some of the cardboard box (really thick) that some of it was covered in and put on the floor when I stood up the columns and walked them in place on the cardboard, then just slid it out. I dont intently drag metal or sharp heavy items across the floor but I dont baby it either. Next week the floor coating will be one year old, and I will put the same stuff on my new add on as soon as I can.

That's a great solution, but some people us outside installers for the lift installs and they will never be as careful as the owner so if you sub out lift install watch them like hawks and make sure your contract has them responsible for repairs.
