Lift placement....is this going to work?

I am getting ready to cut out my garage floor, pour a new pad and install my lift. I am trying to figure out my final placement before I cut the floor.

The lift is a Ben pearson 9K symmetrical. I have 22' from the garage door to my work bench. I wanted to centre the lift at 11' so I can drive in or back in to allow better access to whatever side is open to the rest of the garage (not the wall side).

The problem is that the lift wont be in the ideal location to lift my truck (2014 GMC extended cab). From what I understand the lift column should be just in front of my door handle. If I pull the truck in so its just inside the garage door the column is centered at the door post between the 2 doors on my truck.

Will this be an ok lift placement for lifting my truck or do I have to move the lift a little forward and limit myself to working cramped on the one side of the truck (not being able to back it in).

I would really appreciate some help on this

I placed my 2posts more forward in the shop for that reason. I have backed suv's in rearward on several occasions and never had a problem. I would go 2ft forward if it were mine.
