I'm in the investigative stages for my house/garage build that will hopefully occur within the next year.

I'm a car guy and will be working on Mustangs and older Volvos, maybe a few 240z's.

I also have a Mercedes Sprinter that weighs in around 5000 pounds but will be getting heavier as I kit it out.

I'm comfortable with a two post lift for the cars but I'd like to have capacity to get my Sprinter in the air if need be.

Does anyone have experience/recomendations/warnings for lifts for larger vehicles.

I figured I'd beter work this into the building plan.

Thanks

I just saw a sprinter based RV here I'm Maine. Nice trucks. I would be more concerned with the height of that truck. Weight even topped out may be around the same as a F350 diesel. Full frame to put lift arms on so no worries their. That tall box on the back seems like the tough part so if you are building new garage give yourself plenty of head room.

Bend pak xp10 in my garage and have lifted an F350 dually and I was scared about the mass of that thing. Once up in the air I placed a few tall stabilizer stands under front and rear just to give me peace of mind. No issues what so ever. Those stands have come in handy on many projects. I first had 2 now have 4. I am not sure if harbor freight has them but northern has then for about 100 bucks each

Standard wheelbase or extended? Dually?
The extended wheel base ones especially with a dually we pickup with out 12k rotary with super long arms, or our 18k rotary
The pickup points are very far apart on long wheel base ones and the fact it doesnt have a true frame limits your options

Swb one are fine on our 10k rotarys
