Lift Sitting in Attached garage

Dilemma,

OKay so I ordered a 4 post lift about 3 mths ago and it arrived just after Christmas and is sitting in my attached garage.. Anyways because of the cold weather my detached garage build start date has been delayed till May 1st due to 9ft frost still in ground. So my questions is:::

Should I setup 4 post lift in attached garage with 13ft ceilings for the time being and be able to do a clutch job on Skyline, oil change, exhaust swap on Lo Rider?

Or should I wait another 3 mths(3 mths completion is thinking positive) till detached garage is built and assemble in there where it will permanently reside?

Assemble or Wait?????

Agreed. Assemble, use and enjoy. Did you get a caster kit that will help you move it later when your new building is complete?

X2 - an excellent reason. You can always break it down to move.

The maximum frost depth in the 48 states is about 5 ft (northern Maine and that really cold state... MN). I'd guess the OP is in AK or Canada!

Yeah I think I might assemble just to make sure all the parts are there etc.. I did get the casters for it as well but i think it would be too far to move assembled.

I live in Calgary, AB and the ground frost this year is crazy. My cribber friend says he hasn't seen frost this deep in quite a few years.. I might have a line on a backhoe with tooth, so might be able to get garage pad done sooner then I can get going on the framing.
