Is there a set distance apart for the towers of a lift? Or does it go by manufacturer. Doing a new garage and not sure of a lift yet and with putting radiant in the floor, I really don't want to be drilling later. Thx for any info.

If you do not want to drill then you should get your sights on a certain lift manufacture. They have different mounting hole designs.
Before you order the lift you want you may be able to get ahold of them and request a template of the mounting pad to use for a layout when pouring the pad.

I ended up putting in two 4'x4' pads for my future lift. I figured this would accomidate any two post lift I would install. Even though I'm 99% sure it'll be a Bendpak XPR-10A
