We are about a month out from getting concrete poured. Getting a 4" slab poured and will plan on getting a 4-post lift. I like the idea of the casters to move the lift from one bay to the other if I am working on a different car, so I don't plan on mounting it to the floor. Is there any reason to think I should go to a 6" slab instead?
I have also ordered a bunch of RaceDeck to go down. I know standard builds wait for concrete to set at least 2 weeks before adding substantial weight for the concrete to dry and strengthen up. Should I wait longer before applying the RaceDeck so it doesn't trap the moisture into the concrete? Maybe this is a question for @RaceDeck1? There will be a vapor barrier under the slab. Thanks in advance!
