Unless you own a forklift, your best bet is to have it delivered to a freight terminal. Show up with a borrowed car trailer and they'll load it for you. When you get it home you can disassemble it and take it off the trailer in pieces. If you have it delivered to your home, it will show up on a flatbed and you'll have about 5 mins. to get it off or the driver will be pizzed.

Its a lot of words to read but basically...do what Fireman said, get it to a freight terminal and have them forklift it onto your trailer. I did not plan to do that but it sure worked out great that way.

I have a friend who owns a body shop/towing service. I had my lift delivered to him at his shop. He backed his roll-back up to the trailer and winched it on. We then took the roll- back to my garage, backed it into place, tilted the bed and slid it off.

I recently got a Revolution 4-post lift by Rotary. Very well-built and all made in USA!!!
Had a few problems with shipping....long story, but the company made good!
You can pick-up with a car trailer or use a U-haul. The heaviest runway is 400# and can be lifted by two strong men. We used a couple of furniture dollies and made movement and assembly much easier.

Hello everyone . I am so excited, I just went and picked up my Bend pak sp7X full rise scissors lift at my friends trucking company. We had no problems we just hoisted it off the flat bed and lowererd it onto my trailer. Here are a few pics of it in my garage. Now to lay out the floor where I am going to flush mount it into the concrete.

You have a good helper I see. I'll bet she loves to help Daddy! Enjoy it now, pretty soon she will be interested in makeup and clothes rather than helping in the garage.

laying out
Well just finished laying out the floor where the lift will be set in ( I made the cut out 6" bigger to make room for the forms and to let the concrete fill under the exisiting floor) . Drew up an idea of what I think it wll look like when it is done. Today I cut the floor and I am ready to begin the concrete removal.

Well I must have over done it a bit , endended up in the hospital last week, that put a little pause in my progress. Well back to work , just need to take it a little eaiser this time.

Do you think the plywood will hold up to the pressure of the concrete? I'm just worried it will bow under pressure once you pour, causing your finely placed recessed area to not be the proper shape for the lift to fit. I've seen 2x6's bend under pressure.
When I am ready to pour I will have kickers, ties and spreaders between the plywood. And yes the plywood will hold I was a concrete carpenter and 3/4" plywood, this is all we used to use to build high rises downtown Chicago. Thanks for concern. That is why I am updating this so much, so other people can catch my mistakes before I pour. My old partner used to say " It is not wrong till it is poured"

Nice job on the concrete work! I'm a bit confused looking at the picture of the open garage door where you are loading a bag into the mixer....there doesn't appear to be a driveway outside the door. Do you have a door on both ends of the garage? I've always thought I would like a drive-thru garage.

Absolutely awesome
I recessed the lift 5" in the ground. I did not want to lose the height(5") so I dropped the middle also, and since I have an Avalanche I thought I would go another 5" since my ceiling is only 11'4. Making the total recess 10". I am going to put aluminum 1/4" diamond plate down the middle to cover the recesswhen not in use.
