Need help here:headscrat Need to know if there is a standard on how far apart the towers for a lift go from each other. Does it go by manufacturer or is there a common standard. Doing the planning for my new garage and when doing the floor I want to allow enough room to mount a lift. I'm putting radiant tubes in the floor and don't want any problems of drilling for the anchors later. I don't have the funds for a lift now but if I have to I guess I'll have to spec one out if there is no basic standard. Thanks in advance

I think you better pick the lift you want and then do the pour.

There are some common sized lifts but as you suspect, there are many options.
