Liftmaster 02103L Wiring

I have a spare Liftmaster 02103L switch. I am wondering if I can wire it to open and close my garage door (As a second wall button) which, has a residential opener. Are the buttons just momentary contact switches?

How would i wire it. Current opener has a red and white wire running to two spring loaded terminal clips.

The problem is the modern residential openers send digital data as a series of pulses and this switch is very analog.
