Maybe someone can help me with a problem with my Liftmaster 3800. The door operates fine. Opens and closes perfect. Problem being is that when i press the button to open it, the door opens fine, stays open for maybe 10min then closes by its self(without me hitting the Botton). any thoughts on what it could be.Thanks

Sure it is not programmed to auto-close? Some door openers can be told to close after a given period of time for security (in case you forget to close the door and drive off to work!)

Verify that the door cable monitor is in fact working properly and securely attached to the correct location / distance as per the install manual . . .

There is no auto close . . . Have you checked the cable monitor micro switch? Did you set the force limit in the initial install? Did you adjust the max open / close? Has the safety reversal been checked for force? Is the safety beam properly set and installed?
