I am getting ready to change out my 3 WD IDrives with the Liftmaster 3800. I have the correct torsion shafts so that is not a concern.
I don't want to mount the Smart panels at the man door entering the house in the garage because they need to be wired[bell wire]. I have finished drywall and don't want exposed wires. The IDrives controls are wireless.
If I mount the Smart panels on the garage door wall where running bell wire is acceptable, can I use a wireless Liftmaster control button at the man door? From what I can tell the Liftmaster 902LM and 903LM remotes are being discontinued. Controlling 3 doors at the man door would be great but I can get by with just 2. Thanks

I just use one of the wireless remotes with 3 buttons that you are supposed to put in the car, by the door into the garage. It is stuck on the wall with velcro so if I want to jump in someone elses car etc.. I tried wiring I think it was the 903LM to one of the 3800 Smart controller's but it did not work. I dont think you can have 2 intelligent controllers on the same door.

I was thinking about that [ 373P remote ?]. If I understand you correctly , I know I have to hard wire a Smart controller at each door location for each door.
