I would like to replace the current 2x100W light bulbs with either Sylvania's CFL or Feit's LED light bulbs.

I've been reading that CFL or LED lights can cause RF/IR interference that can affect the remote(s) range and/or the electronics of the GDO. Are any of you guys having or had issues using these kinda bulbs?

Thanks!!

I put CFL's in the light of the first Liftmaster I installed and there haven't been any issues. It's only been up a couple days though. The manual does say "Recommended Compact Florescent or Incandescent"

I put LED's in mine. CFL's always start up too dim for my taste. No issues with the LED's at all. I used the Philips LED's at our old house but might try Cree here, they seem to be a couple of bucks cheaper.

While I didn't notice your opener on the list, Liftmaster does have a list of bulbs found to be compatible with their openers.

One issue is not all CFL fit the Liftmaster sockets. The sockets are deep and the some CFL threads are not long enough and the bulb body hit the top of the socket. Simple fix but no the less .......if you a six or 8 pack of CFL they may not work.

I had a negative experience (loss of remote range) with CFL bulbs in my 7-year old opener. You might want to check the manufacturer's manual or website for a listing of compatible bulbs. I believe that the newer openers are designed for CFL and LED bulbs.
