Question to the LM Guru's out there...didnt see anything in regards to this in any manual..the one that came with my 3800, nor the 398LM Manual online:
http://liftmaster.com/lmcv2/pages/productmodeldetail.aspx?modelId=8117

Question is...I have 2 of the control panels literally 2" away from each other. Is there a way to make one of the panels only display the time, and the other the temp?

OR is there a smart 2 door control panel available? I like the thought of the 902LM, but having the time & temp display plus motion etc... is pretty cool.

I have two, and one shows temp in Fm the other C. Usually both clocks are wrong until I think about resetting them.

I would be really interested to find out more about your inquiry as I have the same problem. I have yet to install my second opener, but I was planning on timing the moment I insert the plug to power the second opener so at least it's panel would cycle temp and time opposite the cycle of the other so I get both the time and temperature available on one or the other at the same time. I'm figuring this could be a little maddening to get right ... and I would probably lose power right after I did that or something.

Never mind the temp and time sequence. I hate the fact that the displays on mine are full of dead gnats from the glow of the display light.

And I thought that was a fluke with mine. I've got 4 openers, 2 have gnats, 2 don't, 1ea in 2 buildings. Apparently it's a feature rather than a fluke??

I've reset the the time on mine a gazillion times, followed shortly by a power outage. I guess I can tell day from night and hot from cold without my door opener's help.

Does yours stay lit? Mine is off and only goes on when the motion sensor kicks it on....Pretty sure it stays on for approx 5 mins...never timed it or anything, but I do know they default to off and only kick on when activated.

I thought mine stayed lit all the time also. I too have gnats in mine, very annoying.

Don't plan on it staying correct long. haha!
Mine are on the same circuit and I flipped the breaker so they could be started at the same time. It works for a day or so then they get out of sequence.
I think I'm going to replace both of mine with simple door bell buttons and rid of the "smart panel" all together.

I do recall once upon a time the display lit up from motion but now it just stays on. I need to dig out the instructions and check on the settings for motion detection. The more I think about it, it seems to me the display was lit at a low level all the time and the motion would turn it up brighter, but the back lighting was never fully off.
