Liftmaster LA400 Gate Operator: looking for worm gear

I've got a LA400 and the brass colored worm gear (driven by the gear at the end of the motor) is worn out. It's slipping. The teeth are shot. The gear on the end of the motor doesn't show signs of wear like on the mating gear. The rest of it appears to be in good shape.

There are no markings on the gear. Some of the other parts in the arm have cast in numbers. No luck goolging up any of those either to try to find somone with parts.

I emailed Liftmaster and they responded that they do not sell just the gear. I would need to by the arm assembly....from an authorized distributor/installer.

No luck on the bay looking for the gear. No luck in the Houston CL for a used arm that I could scab the gear out of. Hoping to get a couple more years out of it before having to shell out the money for another arm.

Here are a couple of shots of the arm and the gear in question.

Any ideas? Thanks.
