LiftMaster LA400DCS Problem, repair suggestions?

Hi.

I have an LA400DCS driveway arm that got messed up recently due to strong wind that bent the tube when it was fully extended so it would not completely retract.
Long story short, I had exact same arm from previous issue when someone was working on my gate and I wanted to see if I could salvage the situation and swap the tube from one arm to another. The second tube appeared to be straight and with no damage, I even used the lithium grease to lubricate it to see if it would slide better, but it seems that when I'm attaching the tube back and it is fully retracted assembled it gets jammed.
The motor has hard time pushing it out and I'm getting codes 91/93. I know motor works if I get it loose and I tested several times I can get it moving the arm, but in this fully retracted position it gets stuck.
I've cleaned out the tube inside and examined to ensure there are no obstructions there, but I maybe missing something as I a not an expert in this.
I know LiftMaster does not have this part specifically sold as a replacement and in these instances recommends replacing the whole arm, but I'd rather not pay $500+ if I can avoid it.
I'm attaching the pictures of what it looks like inside so if anyone has any suggestions or clues it would be appreciate it.
Happy Holidays!

There is a brass worm gear just under the motor shaft that if striped out the unit will be junk. No replacement parts. Just something I have ran into. Its possible that if you took it apart you did not get the limit switches "timed" properly it would not work also?
