My junk azz 5 year old I drive has failed. It has never liked cold weather and the recent single digit cold snap finished it. Anyway, i saved my old liftmaster 1245lm opener but lost the safety eyes. I need a temp solution to get the door working. Anyone know how to bypass the eyes? it has 3 terminals, a common and one for wallmount and one for safety eyes. I don't think it is as simple as bridging the circuit because troubleshooting lists that circuit wont work shorted. Mike

This is how mine works although I am at work and do not recall the model. It is about 3-4 years old. I just replaced the eyes after they were flooded. Think they were about 50.00 bucks for all 4.

Press and hold the button to bypass the sensors? May work depending on model.

I will try that, i have to go buy the wall button. Plan was to convert to torsion spring and install lm 3800, just not ready yet.
