Lifts again !!!

This might end the debate over 2 post or 4 post. Looks like a quality made unit. Any one have any info on these lifts???

Use it for storage or for wheels off work?

Pretty slick! If Mohawk has these adaptors, I'm sure other lift makers aren't far behind.

very very cool idea, I like it. It won't end the debate as i like the drive-on appeal of the 4post and also the don't have to bolt it down part. But if I had to have a bolt-down lift, I would want that attachment, its way cool.

It would make setting up a truck a little easier but other than that I really don't think I'd ever want these...

I say that because in the nearly 40 years I've been putting stuff "up in the air" there haven't been many vehicles I couldn't safely work on with either a drive-on or frame contact lift.


It looks, to me, like one of those products that really catches your eye, you buy it and it lays in the corner after a few months never to be used very much.

IT WOULD be nice for 60's Corvettes with side pipes, though...

Saw this on Trucks! last weekend. . i think its a hell of a cool idea. Anyone have any experience with it? A little pricy, but the convenience. . they lifted a Full Size ford Conversion van on the show. . let me know what you think:

Personally, while I have never used this PARTICULAR lift, I probably would not be comfortable under it. I like a vehicle to be very secure when I'm working under it. If I'm beating and banging on something, I don't like the vehicle/lift bouncing. When I'm under a twin post, I always use stands as well, to keep things from rocking around. So with that in mind, this one to me loks like it would bounce a pretty fair amount, and I personally wouldn't lik that.

As to the original post, their a neat idea. I guess I'd like to see one in action sometime.

for that kind of money, you can get yourself 2 scissor lifts and I would feel much safer. Or better yet, a 4-post AND a scissor lift (best combo, I love mine) I question how much work you can do under that car, the 2 arms are in the way and the part on the floor is just asking for you to trip on it. It also does not seem too stable in my mind, how does it stop the car from tipping outward and onto the ground or back into the lift mechanism ? it most likely has 4 lift points to be safe and prevent tipping but then you have just wiped out all the working space.

The only reason I can see for that lift is just like it says, mobility and using up a corner of the garage.

My buddy Al has one similar to this in his rod shop. It works pretty well...he can be doing some major work on a car and he can roll it outside and free up the shop space while he waits for parts, etc.

Sometimes he just rolls it out on the driveway to work on something...or to store it when it's not in use.

He's had it for several years and has never had any problems with it...the only thing is it's a little spooky moving the car around while it's on the lift.
