I am building a new garage...it's up and concrete is 23 days old... my question is to all the gurus...... it's getting two lifts a 4 post and a 2 post.... would you install the lifts first then expoxy or expoxy then install the lifts....

Main concern would be damaging the expoxy with setting the lift up and then even maybe breaking the bond near the lift from a hammer drill threw the concrete?

Or am I thinking to much into it?

Personally I'd install the 2 post lift first, because I wouldn't want to be punching holes in my brand new floor coating. The 4 post doesn't need anything drilled into the floor, so that can go in after the floor is done.

Agree. The lift should be installed first then the epoxy. I think you are overthinking it ;)

I epoxied first. Then built my 4 post -Then used my 4 post w/wheels to install my 2 post (to lift the 2 post in place)

Roll the 2 post on small 1/4 tube to "fine tune" the placement lastly. It worked out perfect with 1 man and no floor damage

at this house I did the lift first. At our last house I did after the epoxy. I can't possibly imagine what difference it would make.
Pic's are of current house.
