Light fixture in a wet environment

Breaker for my basement kept tripping. After replacing the breaker (its never that easy) I unplugged all loads from the circuit as well as removed all the bulbs from the lights on the circuit. Stopped the breaker from tripping. I found on the bulbs and the sockets significant corrosion. Unfortunately my basement is fairly damp and sometimes straight up flooded due to a bad foundation. That repair is simply not in cards at the moment. Is there some sort of light I can replace the typical porcelain bulb fixtures with that will maybe play a bit nicer with the high humidity?

I've run across several of the new flat recessed lighting fixtures that are rated for damp environments. However, they are designed to be snapped into a round hole in a sheetrock ceiling, using a small (provided) junction box in the joist cavity above, so I'm not sure of the best way to wire them to replace an existing porcelain fixture.
