I’m looking to get opinions regarding whether I should go with a light gray or dark gray PVC tile for my garage floor. Please let me know what you think and why one is better than the other.

Just my 2¢...

Depending on how **** you are, lighter colors generally show more scuff marks, stains, etc. than darker colors. Plus, I would think it will also depend on your wall and ceiling color choices.

Regardless, it is yours to decorate as you see fit!

Thanks. I plan on keeping my walls and ceiling white. My thoughts are along yours with regards to tire marks and scuffs being less of an issue with the darker gray. I guess the trade off is that vs lighter giving better light reflectivity.

Here's my black and dark grey SupraTile. I tracked a lot of dirty snow in the garage over the past few days. A quick swipe with a damp mop cleaned it right up. I've got black where I park my cars. I've not hardly used the garage since I completed the floor but so far all I've had to use to clean up the tiles are a dry mop for dry, dusty dirt and a damp wet mop for the rainy/watery dirt tracked in.

Dark gray. Dark gray and black if you want checkerboard.

Your garage looks great! Thank you for your business.

Our comment is that certain tire compounds can stain PVC tiles. Colors other than black can posssibly stain, and we don’t offer a tire staining warranty on our Supratiles. We have seen projects on gray floors wher one car side looks great and the other aide (different tire brand) got stains).

Certainly if you want gray go with dark under the vehicles or use parking pads.
