So I bought these 3 of reflectors at a garage sale for $10 total. I have no idea what I need to get to connect them to a light bulb socket.
The reflectors are 10.5" diameter wide by 3.5" tall. The hole at the top is 1-7/8" in diameter. A standard light bulb socket like the one in the picture is about 1-3/8" in diameter.
What's the least costly way to add a bulb to these reflectors while not adding too much height to the top of the reflector. I am mounting them above my workbench. There is going to be a shelf above my workbench flush with the top of the cabinets and will stick out 12" past the front of the cabinets. So I have 6-7/8" from the top of the cabinet door to the shelf. So the bulb holder/fixture cannot add more than 3 inches to the top of the reflector for the cabinet doors to clear the light. I appreciate our help.
I'm also kicking myself for not purchasing the larger diameter reflectors at the garage sale. I could have used them but the seller wanted more than my budget that day. If anyone has a source for similar reflectors at a low price please let me know as well.
