Hi,
Im trying to install some of the 4ft LED lights in my garage and I need help understanding the current wiring. Ive never done this before and Ive tried searching but nothing camp up.
I the light fixture on the ceiling their is a black wire and a white wire of the same gauge. They are both connect. This is the "hot" and the "neutral", correct?
There is also a thinner gauge brown wire that is not connected to anything. This is also the case in the light switch box.
I am trying to figure out if there is a ground or if the box is grounded for the new LED light.
Any help would be appreciated
