Light wiring question

I'm hanging six LED lights in a new metal building I built. Because of the orientation of the ibeams on the ceiling, I'd like to hang three lights on either side of a beam. Is it ok to wire the lights like this and not in a series? Wiring in a series would require either long runs of conduit or conduit cutting across empty space between the beams.

I just did mine like that, but with 12. No issues yet, aside from brushing up on bending conduit.

Doing it the way you show it is fine since it appears the power for the lights is coming from the switch.

If you do not require all the lights to be on all the time while your in the building, you might want to consider putting in two switches to control a few lights from one switch and a few on the other. This will give you the ability to just turn on the amount of light you need for any given task and not waste electricity for light you don't need.

Why would there be any issue with this? So long as the lights don't overload the incoming wire what's the problem?
