Yesterday, I was watching the TV show Two Guys Garage and during the tool section of the show they had, Bossco Lighted Wrenches- wrenches with lights on each end that were rechargeable. I was thinking this might be a good idea if the lights worked and held their charge OK. I'm not really into rechargeable stuff that much because the battery usually runs down in the middle of the job. Have any of you guys tried these or have these in your toolbox? How do they work? ................:headscrat

Just looked at those wrenches seems a little steep for a 7 piece set and then on top of it dont drop them whats the chance of dropping i dont know anybody that has never dropped a wrench or two in there life lol.

I guess hurling it after it slips and busts a knuckle is out of the question then.....

I don't see the cost/benefit in these either. I wear a small LED headlamp when I need to see in the dark or need a little pinpoint light. That seems like a better and cheaper solution than these lighted wrenches.

The headlamp is on my forehead, just above my eyes (duh), so it shines wherever I look, and it frees up my hands. I'd rather spend the $30 for the headlamp that I can use with ANY tool rather than these.

BUT if anyone has used lighted wrenches and sees a benefit (pun intended), I'd be curious to hear your experiences.

I would just use an overhead lamp instead of these lighted wrenches.
