There's been a few bluetooth speaker lights that have come to market lately. This one, by Lithonia fits into a downlight can. It has some technical glitches that I dont like, but for a casual user, it's pretty cool.
But the one that's really cool is this one by Sengled, called Pulse. It just screws into a socket. It can be a table lamp or a downlight or just a hanging socket. It works via bluetooth, but there's also an app that gives you tons of control.
