Lighting conundrum for single car

I drew a diagram of the ceiling of my 1 car. I was wondering if someone could help me with ideas to work around all these obstacles. I've seen the ideas on here about mounting lights under the garage door but would like to avoid if possible. I personally don't see any other way but you guys are smarter than me. Anyway, I'd love to hear from you guys.

By the way, I have four 4' shop lights with 5k bulbs.

Thanks
Cory

tough layout given the door in the middle

2 crossways down the center, and 1 on each side of the door.

I like that idea, Joe.

I am assuming you have 2 tube fixtures, not 4 tube large rectangular fixtures. If you have larger rectangular fixtures you would need to move things around a little bit and you have more options for good light. The layout shown would be about the best you are going to get with your number of fixtures and the limitations you have. I am hoping you also have a light on your garage door opener motor that can be kept on (when in the garage) to help add extra light in the center of the garage. Also, you might want to space the lights on either side of the garage door down from the ceiling a little bit in order to make sure the light is able to spread as far under the door as possible when the door is up.

I think in an attempt to provide more info, I actually provided more confusion. I have 4 4', 2 tube fixtures with enough 5k bulbs to fit them all. But I am DEFINITELY willing to buy more if necessary. I would prefer to use some of what I have but if the best thing to do would be to start over then I'll do that. There's always CL.

Thanks,
Cory

Qty4 2 tube 4' fixtures are what I was assuming you had when I did my drawing, so the layout I showed should work fine. If you come across more lights to add to the garage in the future I would add them in the locations marked in red with the one over the garage door added last.

Thanks from me too. I'm working with a on car garage as well.

How would you be able to keep the garage door light continuously ?

I have a similar layout with fixtures above the garage door. It's not really an issue because when the door is open, plenty if light illuminates the area.
