Lighting for 27 X 40

I need some lights for my garage but don't want to spend a fortune. The garage is 27' x 40' x 10' with two enclosed rooms towards the back. About 30' will be used as a working area. Any suggestions? How much light would I need?

Well the guys on here will need to know ceiling height, type of insulation, foil backed, kraft backed etc. truss const or scissor trusses, paint on ceiling color or lack thereof, wall color or lack thereof, ok so you get the idea and pictures would sure help for a recomendation. just my $ .02 D.J.

oh thats right, it's 10' ceilings possibly one side is going to be higher. Here is a pic:
