Lighting for a new shop

The shop is finally going up this weekend,it's 32' x 42', 9' ceiling on one half and vaulted ceiling on the other half. I plan on using 8' flouresent on the half with the 9' ceiling,but what would you recommend for the vaulted half. I plan on working on the cars in the vaulted half so I would need plenty of light,eventually a lift will be going in.

T-5's....lot of light little power and heat. I have 4-4 bulb in a 21'x21'. All the light I need even during the day.

I wouldn't use any 8' fixtures. Use 4' T-8's. Easier to deal with.

I installed (6) T5 fixtures in my garage (not a true shop) and they illuminate the entire neighbor hood. Talk about overkill on lighting.
